Ok so I didn't need a new cleanser, my Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish is brilliant and I'm nowhere near running out, but I got sucked up in the Caroline Hirons hype of this and off to Body Shop I went. I wanted to try a balm cleanser when my C&P ran out and was going to get Clinque Take The Day Off then this one appeared.
It's cheaper than Clinque and although skincare dupes rarely exist this is supposed to be a dupe of both Clinque and Emma Hardie. It comes in a hard form and melts with the heat of your fingers so you can massage it into your skin. The Body Shop products almost always have a really strong scent that you either love or hate but strangely this product has little scent at all, which is a good thing. I hardly use any of this - a little really does go a long way and at only £12.00 for 90ml it's (in my eyes) a bargain. You can buy it on The Body Shop website or in store and I've also seen a discount code on Money Saving Expert for 50% off using 14319 (valid until 2pm 30th Sept) which makes this only £6.00 plus delivery!
If not then go for it! I like to remove this balm using a flannel or muslin cloth soaked with warm water. When I'm wearing heavier make up I will follow it up with C&P otherwise just tone and moisturise as normal. I always say I have normal/combination skin and I haven't had any problems, my skin feels clean and softer after using it.
I will say that it isn't suitable for all skin types, going on the advice from Caroline, if you have acne/combination skin then you should probably stay clear of this.
